Happy September!!
Across Global Methodist Churches, we are sharing the messages of The Gospel during September, October and November! Matthew, Mark, Luke and John will be our focus and we will concentrate on telling the wonderful story concerning God’s amazing gift of grace extended to us through His Son, Jesus Christ!
We invite you to ask a co-worker, friend or someone else to come with you to church as we explore Jesus’ incredible ministry together. Our Wednesday night dinners will kick off on September 3 at 6:00 pm and that is a great opportunity to invite someone to experience our food, faith and fellowship in the LEC.
Jesus is coming back soon and there is no time to waste in inviting people to seek a personal relationship with Jesus. We will not only share scriptures you can quote, but we’ll also help you share your faith story with others in your sphere of influence. Today, I would like you to write down the names of five people you think might benefit from a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. After you’ve written their names down, put the list in a place (fridge, dresser, mirror) where you will see it AND pray for those on the list everyday.
We have more in store for you and for all who come to First Church over the next few months. Please be in prayer for our campus, our leadership, me and our church body as we share the love of Christ!
May we glorify the name of Jesus and lift Him high for all to see!
God loves you and so do I!
