Do you know that the Garden of Eden will be restored?
We read about this in Revelation Chapter 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.
I so look forward to the day when I will see that garden in my Father’s house in Heaven. How about you? The Book of Revelation is not an easy read in that there is so much depth and imagery within the twenty-two chapters. There is so much trial and tribulation in this book written through the Apostle John while exiled on the Island of Patmos. And beginning in Chapter 2 we find a review of seven churches in Asia that reminds us that all churches are accountable to God.
This past year we marked eighty years of serving God and community in The Glades. What will the next decade look like to us as we seek the Holy Spirit’s direction to share Jesus with more families in Clewiston? What part is God calling you to play in our continuing journey to know Jesus and make Jesus known?
We are now in the Season of Lent. And I ask that you join me in daily prayer from March 1st until May 20th, seeking God’s wisdom and direction for living out our mission to see more people come to faith in Jesus Christ. We want to see more people of all ages begin a personal relationship with Jesus. Their lives will never be the same and one day… we will see Eden restored, together in a paradise that awaits!
God bless you and keep you,
Pastor Jeff
